Two Soups Please Waitress!

Several years ago, one of my clients introduced me to a fantastic winter recipe for Whisky Crab Soup. It has since become the cornerstone of the seasonal finale here at The Magical Christmas Wreath Company. Just like 'Johnny' always does the last dance of the season, I now make the last soup (!) of the season here in our workshop along with plenty of Christmas cocktails to help us wind down!

Well I just couldn't wait until next week for my annual fix of Whisky Crab Soup, so I hot footed it down to my favourite fishmongers in Notting Hill Gate this morning where they had kindly prepped the two and a half pounds of Dungeness crab that I needed to create my culinary magic as I don't like all that messy malarkey!

You can find the original recipe for Whisky Crab Soup here. I like to put my own slant on it in true Keith Floyd style, by simply increasing the measures of Cognac, Sherry and Whisky....cheers!

If that soup doesn't warm the cockles of your heart.......

Light and Magic at Harvey Nichols!

We've been back on the road again this week with our Magical Christmas Shopping Tour 2013.
Harvey Nichol's festive angels have been hard at work creating the most incredible Christmas windows with their take on the AW/13 catwalks.

Shoppers are greeted this year by a high voltage vision that comes to life at night. Studio 54 meets stained-glass, celestial light and magic with mannequins wearing the latest looks from Hervé Léger, Alexander McQueen and Philip Armstrong. If these windows don't get you set for the upcoming Christmas and New Year party mood then we need to have a little disco chat!

Have you got a look planned for Christmas and New Year?

Magical International Delivery!

We are getting lots of wreath inquiries this year from customers that live outside Europe.

Most are asking if they can purchase wreaths and other products from The Magical Christmas Wreath Company as gifts that we can send to their friends, relatives and business associates that live either in the UK or Mainland Europe.

We are pleased to say, Yes we can!

We ask all our international customers to send us a quick note with their order details via our contact page on the Magical Christmas Wreath Company Website.

We will then send you a Paypal invoice and take care of the rest for you.

We add a card to every order, so don't forget that festive message to include inside your gift.

We still deliver our luxury scented candles worldwide and we have three fabulous scents to choose from, so no matter where you live, you can all have a touch of magic in your home this Christmas!

Nuts About Christmas!

Christmas is well under way at The Magical Christmas Wreath Company with fresh orders being created daily, which are then winging there way across the UK and also Europe this year!

I'm just popping in to share a few sneaky peeks from the secret workshop this week and even a snap of me doing a delivery run. Yes, the elves do allow me to get out of the workshop sometimes. One customer even ran out to catch a glimpse of the ever elusive Hercules this week!

A large order of Snowfall garlands left the workshop today along with a very festive 'Jingle Bellissima' Christmas Door wreath, one of my favourites!

Our cheeky 'Gilded Sparrow' centerpieces have been flying all over town.
As for our 'Nuts About Christmas' door wreath well, I had to stock up on ingredients this week just to keep up with the orders. I got some very funny looks at my local supermarket with a trolley stacked full of nuts I can tell you!

So, you better watch out,  you better not cry,
You better not pout, I'm telling you why......
......you could just get me delivering your Christmas wreath this year!

Merry Christmas everyone!

If you would like to order any of our fabulous designs this year head along to the website!

Christmas at Waddesdon Manor

It has become something of a traditional at The Magical Christmas Wreath Company that we pop across to Waddesdon Manor for our first Christmas lunch each year. It enables us to take a breath before the super busy Christmas rush lands at our door. They also do a spiffing Christmas pudding and brandy butter ice cream that I spend all year dreaming about. For those that can't quite cope with turkey and all the trimmings just yet can grab a bite or a coffee at the outdoor pavilion or the stables.

Light artist Bruce Munro has returned to Waddesdon Manor this year with six new large scale outdoor light installations to add a little Christmas magic to the grounds once the winter sun goes down.
